About

I am a PhD student in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil, advised by Prof. Leandro A. Villas and co-advised by Prof. Allan M. de Souza, and a member of H.IAAC, the Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Architectures Hub at Unicamp. My research interests are Foundation Models, Time Series, Anomaly Detection, Distributed Learning, Federated Learning and Domain Drift.

I received my BSc in Statistics from Unicamp in 2023, and my MSc in Computer Science from Unicamp in 2026, also under the supervision of Prof. Leandro A. Villas, with a thesis titled “Personalized Federated Fine-tuning of Language Models”. During my Master’s I worked at H.IAAC on federated learning, developing efficient and privacy-preserving methods for fine-tuning large language models on distributed edge and mobile devices, and I collaborated with industry on the evaluation of language model agents. My current work extends these ideas to foundation models for sequential data in distributed settings, and to anomaly detection in time series and sequential data.
